Recipe: Fruits Which Taste Better at Room Temperature

Here’s something that I learned from my mother:

Oranges and Tomatoes (technically a fruit, not a vegetable) taste better at room temperature than when refrigerated.

However, it’s not a good idea to keep them out of the refrigerator lest they spoil, so what I do is to microwave one of them for about 30 seconds just before eating. An added bonus is that oranges are easier to peel and are easier to break up into sections when they are warm.
